What would you consider high end? You probably consider it to be by MHz but you should consider it to be by pricing. If high end is defined as "chips over $200", then AMD (not counting obsoleted parts) has two such products while Intel has six. AMD has no parts above $300 while Intel has four. The fact that AMD's stupidly (and I emphasize the "stupid" in that) cheaper parts outperform those more expensive Intel parts is irrelevant. The fact is that AMD has a bunch of low end parts and is tasting the high end, but just barely.
