I'm torn between this stock and EXDS. Grrr... I bought in at 30.5 so not terribly concerned but I hate thinking about the opportunity costs.

The stock has taken huge hits before, and, unless there was a material event to report, management said nothing. Not even when the stock was trading below cash value in Oct 98 (as some of us have pointed out in the past). The management of this company is focussed more on operational performance, not on the stock price. Don't expect to hear anything from them.

To coin an English phrase, "bollocks".

Sandisk management is in fact well known for saying nothing during both good and bad times (for the stock price).

Would you care to back up that ridiculous statement with some facts? Or even one fact?
