Dan,

I just noticed something very interesting today. Some posters on this thread may be already aware of it, but I just happened to notice it today.

All this time I was under the impression that KT133A boards are not out yet. But what I noticed was that there are some mother boards available using this chipset. They are even listed on pricewatch. You don't find them if you search for "KT133A". PCCHIPS quietly started using the new chipset under the same old name(KT133) on their existing M805 & M807 mother boards.

The advanced features of the VIA KT133 System Board include :

Supports AMD Duron/Athlon 500M~1GHz CPUs with frequency at
266MHz FSB in Socket A for Micro ATX Form Factor
--------------------------

KT133A - Microstart motherboards are also listed on pricewatch, but the chipset is referred to as KZ133 (search pricewatch using the keyword "KZ133" to find these boards).

Was it just me that didn't know of this, or is it something that not most on this thread are not aware of? I wonder why they are not using KT133A as the chipset's name? I guess they want to keep it quiet to not to affect the prices on the other boards that still use the old KT133.
