Paul, Thanks for the response. Can you help me with another question. Does the opening up of capacity in some way allow for the more rapid transition to .13 because more wafer starts are available for refinement of this process?

It seems to me that INTC needs to do something that is an "upside surprise" to the analyst community before they get positive on the stock again. P4 at .13 seems to be what everyone is waiting for and given it is not expected until Q4 2001 there is no sense of urgency to those with a short term horizon. I have a long term horizon, but am scared $hitless of a possible fall into the mid 20's in the shortrun without some positive developments. One of my trump cards (the fed) did not work out so well and I don't have any left to play.

Excellent news for AMD shareholders.

Instead of building P3s build 1/3 P4s per-wafer and eat additional $200 in platform costs. Thank God, Intel is run by fools.
