nobody can proof that specific hedge founds have any connection to Cramer.
Knowing fundamentals I am listening to Cramer BS and buying.....
there is shift in spending from voice switching to packet network.
B/c of that in general spending GROWTH is slowing destroying Lucent and fueling NT,JDSU,ALA and others.
In meantime manipulator like Cramer are spreading news without explaninig the real content.
Good source for trader who sell and buy based on symbol.
This time the symbol is JDSU b/c of merger.
Why GLW, NT or CIEN posted solid gains if fundamentals are so bad???????????

Stocker,

I don't follow Cramer, just read his JDSU write up because of all the references to it. Cramer is no great trader or market pronosticator IMO, but he does speak his mind. Fine.

What did bother me in his little article was a quote of a rather obscure hedge fund manager who essentially challenged JDSU management to "speak up" and confront his rumor mongering. That damn fund manager knows well that JDSU can't say crap right now, and so does Cramer.

Cramer is entitled to his opinion, but he quote from the hedge fund manager is something I would expect from a politican, not a "journalist".

And while Cramer states he has no position in JDSU, maybe he has one in SDLI? Who knows?
