Scumbria... Why do you say I'm frustrated? You try to read into things too much and always seem to come up with the wrong answer or opinion. Rambus will pop soon enough. In the meantime I'm enjoying the trading. It's a great stock for that, with the 2 - 5 point swings continuously during the day. Like I said, why don't you try investing for a change rather than just flapping your lips.

I do have one frustration, but you wouldn't know anything about that since you don't invest. I have two investment accounts, one is a margin account and the other is a cash account. My frustration comes from my SEP cash account (SEPS, like IRA accounts can only be cash). Cash account restrictions limit the trades you can make. Example: If you have a position in a stock from the previous day, you can sell it then buy it (or any other) back, and sell it again in the same day... but you cannot buy the same or any other stock back again in the same day after those three trades. In other words.. SELL, BUY, SELL and that ENDS it for the day. If you have no previous position in a stock, you can BUY and SELL in the same day and that ENDS it for that day. These restrictions do not apply to margined accounts.

I give you this information so that if you every begin to invest in stocks, rather than just talk about it, you will understand these basic rules and avoid possible penalties.

Intel fabs: "No fewer than 11 new plants are being built from the ground up, with several overhauls in progress, most of which average about 130,000 feet of clean room -- the dust-free labs where the chips are composed.

Consider this partial list of recent or ongoing construction: Arizona: 150,000 feet of clean-room space; California: 100,000 feet dedicated to flash in Santa Clara; Oregon: 300,000 feet in place, with a third being upgraded; Massachusetts: a 2-year-old purchase from Digital Equipment undergoing an $800 million, 2-year conversion process; New Mexico: three fabs with at least $2 billion being spent to build 133,000 feet dedicated to producing .13 micron chips; Ireland: two fabs in excess of 100,000 feet already up, with another $2 billion fab in excess of 130,000 feet coming online in 2001; Israel: 130,000 feet of clean-room space."
