Hi Ish, yeah, I hear what you're saying. Balance doesn't appear to be a part of that state farm office. I don't know...I still struggle with the issue though.. Hope your Christmas was great. Here the toddler animals have finally started to settle down. :) Ooops, I think I spoke to soon. Another spilled drink to clean up, and snotty nose to wipe on my leg! <gg> Hard to believe we've been chatting so long on SI now isn't it? You can download an application from here: state.il.us Then follow the instructions on steps 1 - 5. Note: I see they have a veterans outreach program. Under State law, qualified veterans are entitled to points added to a passing grade and appointment preference. state.il.us PS: I've never held a state job and have no idea if you'll get hired. Although it would never be stated in writing, I suspect it helps to be related to or friends with someone with some "pull". PPS: State Farm Insurance doesn't have anything to do with the state though does it?
