100 cfm,

About base station royalty....don't know. Can't remember it being discussed here. But I it can't be 'small'.

Best regards,

L

I have been confused about is what is the royalty for basestation equipment based on

FWIW - I did some work on forecasting QCOM's profit over the past year and can tell you it is not easy to forecast base station royalties. Not only is it not completely clear what the royalty is based on, but the timing of payments seems to be on a deferred basis. That is, QCOM seems to get paid when the equipment providers get paid by the SP. And as I understand it, the SPs pay when the equipment is operational.
It may not be exactly this way, but close enough to substantially shift the timing between base station sales and actual royalty dollars therefrom to QCOM.
