I have not read the report you are referring to on SNDK. I assume it is based on additional flash capacity coming on stream next summer. Technology is cyclical and additions of capacity drive many of the cycles -- especially in semis, so this is a real concern. Having said that, flash demand is IMO going to continue to grow fast enough to keep SNDK et al deeply in the black and growing fast as well. IMO again, SNDK is a good stock to buy and hold -- you will have an opportunity to buy it cheaper with the cloud hanging over it. I was planning on moving in and out over a short period of time. This report is just a report -- I can wait for its effect to fade, which it probably will.

Sramd -- it really does seem that analyst downgrades on stocks like JDSU today can actually be good indicators of a bottom. Look at the JDSU chart and tell me how you would feel to downgrade this stock today and then watch it go up :)
