Name two prominent African-American Democrats who might become these new "voices of reason in the black community." The truth, of course, is that Bush garnered only 7-10 percent of the African-American vote this past election because he refused to disassociate himself with those who still wave the Stars and Bars. Wise political move on Dubya's part ... but there will be a price to pay down the road.

The truth is that Jesse Jackson speaks for the vast majority of African-Americans in this country.

If he doesn't, then who does?
