<<By that I mean it takes very few brains to sell this AT THE RIGHT PRICE. >>

Had they done that, G* could be covering their cost of operation by now, and we could be charging a premium for the data service. Now we have to give data away to build the subscriber base to critical mass.

Back in March, I did not think it was necessary to lower the price. There are so many sales people here in the USA that are dissatisfied with their cell service, that they would pay a premium for not dropping a connection. The premium cost is part of doing business. These people don't even know about G*, so they couldn't even consider it.

What has been most disappointing IMO, besides the stock price, is no corporate accounts sold by G*. Even large government deals such as I* should have been announced by now. Fixed systems announcement are at a rate slower than beta unit rollout. These systems could be given away to 3rd world countries would be profitable just on MOUs. Take a dozen or two and put them each country G* covers for 6-12 months and demonstrate how essential they are to that nations growth. Similarly, provide Ford, GM, etc. management with mobile phones and demonstrate how necessary they are to their corporate growth. Cost would be shown as a secondary issue, and would lead to more strategic contracts such as Wincast, North Start, etc. But nothing close to this has been done.

I like BS from the finance and technical side , but he and his staff do not appear to be getting any traction on the sales side. As stockholders maybe we need to do a E-mail campaign on IR to move them in a more positive direction.

Happy New Year to you and the rest of the G* longs.

Best Regards
Bob

Maurice, from my very limited perspective G* seemed from the get-go to be a herculean task. how many countries on how many continents? at what price and with what incentive?

Your .20/min. speel got me hook, line and sinker. The PRICE would be right and the coverage right. But here's the fly in the ointment - most cell phone users talk incessantly from WHEREVER they happen to be - the car, the mall. In other words, indoors. Will a G* phone work indoors? If I can't hold it to my ear at 75MPH then forget it. In order to gain critical mass it must do everything a cell phone can do....and MORE!
