Thanks Scott....yea, I wish I had been writing all year.......Had I known we would be in this downtrend, I certainly would have moved to cash or written CC's on everything I have....at least it would have lessened the losses. problem is, I've been thinking we were at bottom all year long now, therfor, I havent been writing cc's......anyway, as far as extr goes...yea, 10% right off the bat on an OTM CC.....not too bad....and if it gets called at $50, that'll be a 38% gainer in 3 weeks.....If I could do that every month......well, 38% a month would solve alot of my financial problems. One of my concerns, and maybe somebody more in tune with options can answer this...does not the high premium show that the trend for the stock is downward? In other words, the higher the premium, the more bearish the outlook, versus a lower premium equals a bullish outlook on stock...... Thanks Keith......sure hope next year isnt as bad as most folks think it will be. Vster is about the only bull I can find. RR is a bull,but he moreso is bullish that he will suceed in any market...in other words, I dont know he he thinks naz is going to rocket as Vster does, but he does believe that he will be succesful ragardless, therfor he is a bull...but sheez....most folks are very bearish. Well, I at least hope we have a good January. have sndk covered with Jan 60's and extr covered with jan 50's....other then that, I am uncovered and way underwater on every holding I have except for atml. Hopefully a good january gets me out of some march jdsu calls and some may rmbs calls........
