I can answer the Netzero question since I use it periodically. About 12%-15% of their users log more than 50% of the telecommunications cost for Netzero. To try reduce that cost and still stay free for most users, they will be giving free access for the first 40 hours each month. They actually sent me an email that said I would be unlikely to ever get charged as my monthly usage has been so low the last 3-4 months. For anyone using more than 40 hours a month, Netzero will bill them $9.95 as a flat rate, and it get calculated every month so you don't have to worry about an ongoing bill should your usage spike for just one month. And neither I nor my wife have any real problems with Netzero. Freei, though, was rotten from the start for me, talking baby ads or no. As simply a satisfied user( don't work for them and am not invested in them) I would suggest trying again if you want free. Their ad bar is a little less intrusive than Juno's, too.
