I'm filling in the forms for ArcFutures (http://www.arcfutures.com) today on Paddy's recommendation. I'm going with their PFGBest account since that is the one I got familiar with while playing with the demo.

Hi SE, I traded with PFG for about a year but now keep them for a back-up only. They have IMO the best interface but they also have problems with getting fills back promptly - about once a day I'd be waiting minutes for a fill report ( the actual fill may or may not have been made quickly) and fills on market orders are always a little slow ( but not limits - I don't know why) They do have a friendly responsive order desk but I feel that I had to call them way too often. I've been using IB for about three weeks now and have had no problems so far - no fills in more than 3 or 4 seconds, no errors, no hang-ups. The Java interface is OK, harder than PFG's for orders other than limits but the speed is worth it for me.
