Given the many articles published in Southern Partisan decrying the perils of homosexual activism, I wonder what Asscrotch will have to say about Dick Cheney's daughter, who happens to be ... a homosexual activist?

You have nailed it. The usual left wing fringe groups will huff and puff but, in the end, he will be confirmed by a wide vote margin. Ashcroft's reputation is impeccable and his colleagues in the Senate know it. They won't lay a glove on him. As for being a target, not hardly. Only the usual wacko fringe groups that normally disagree with enforcing the law will have any problems with this guy. His integrity and determination to live by the Constitution and the rule of law will serve him well (as opposed to the current AG who is never certain what the law is until she checks with Slick Willie).
