steve gibson's site has also dealt with the topic of naviscope as spyware, and come to the conclusion, i think, that it is not truly offensive and does only what it says it will do.

but i still don't feel comfortable with it for the above reasons.

It looks like my 'first page' slowdown hits you on nearly every page. Maybe after a few of us are Naviscope addicts, they'll bring forward a version which answers all our prayers, not just the easy ones.

Maybe they should address the security issues you raised too.
