Hello boys and girls,

Judging from disappearance of Paul Engel and Bill Hall, Intel will miss the lowered forecast and see a sequential revenue contraction from Q3.

Hey Bill, any hiring freezes yet?

Amy, still holding for the long howl? Must be that wonderful CPU roadmap, with Itanic and P4 as the crown jewels, that keeps you going.

I've read this story before. Its the same one they write at the beginning of every processor transition.

Its actually a good thing. If everybody wanted a P4 today instead of the PIII, Intel couldn't build them.

As irritating as this story is, its not unprecedented.
