Isn't property tax deductible? God I hope so; just bought my first house. Taxes are a killer.

You can deduct them -- it just needs to be paid in that tax year, even though most are due Jan 31 of the following year.

Hell,

I just tell my accountant to deduct everything and let them throw out what they don't want. Get away with it about half the time. Airplane invariably brings on Audit.
