vipfutures looks to be an IB to RCGLLC (rosenthal collins). app looks nice, but I wonder why many futures brokers are so secretive about their commission/fee structure? it sure seems the CFTC has a lot to learn from the SEC.

Scott - VIp, yep. (EDITED) Thanks. Yet another Rosenthal & Colins IB. And daytraders friendly. Also are eSignal partners. RCG Direct will also have a click'n-trade function "anytime soon" And seen the description on the VIP site, that RCG Direct appears to be a stand-alone application too. vipfutures.com

I'm back to square one. I got approved at IB/TWS last month and was excited about it's system, with cheap costs and hearing a few traders say they liked it. Well, I was working on the wire transfer papers and noticed I got fancy when I signed up at IB. I used my middle initial and the Senior tag at the end of my name. Seems it's just enough to prevent smooth transfers between trading accounts (IB and Brown with normal name info). Conclusion, I need to resubmit as a new subscriber at IB. Back to the paperwork drawing board for me. I agree with ya, it would be nice to have this stuff figured out by end of Jan. Btw, the Vip Direct demo looks interesting.
