TC mentioned yesterday about liking the BTTT-Classic best for this type market. To that end, I found an article in the November "Active Trader" magazine that could be a partner for the Classic trade. activetradermag.com Scroll down to the article called "Trading the Bow-Tie Pattern" for a hint about the article. This isn't far removed from the MAX concept, and is very close to what BeckyA has advocated in the past. Here's a quote from the article: Bow ties allow you to catch high-probability, shorter-term moves when markets are potentially embarking on new trends. It also says: In a perfect setup, the transition (from one trend to another) should occur over a maximum of three to four days. It goes on to tell how the setup looks and what signals a "safer" trade. Long and short. Ken

Hi Ken, Been dealing all day today and yesterday with some family issues...and a burst water pipe (!)...and things are just now settling down. Will try tomorrow to get some thoughts together about BTTT Trading 2001... Agreed about the market bottom...but I'm not all that bullish about 2001 for the market as a whole...we'll need all the stock picking expertise gathered here on this thread to make a decent return.
