Tuesday should be interesting, I have no idea what may happen, index wise. I had planned to hold the shorts over the long weekend, but when the NDX crossed a -5% loss, I cashed them all. I sense a lot of interest in many of the micro-cap dogs that I follow, so I expect some decent $$ rotation into this sector in the 1st quarter, as $$ drains out of some of the bigger stuff.
There was a good story in the WSJ today about the magnitude of bad loans out there, and some of the banks that have the worst exposure, and this is why I feel the FED will cut, because the banks are going to have some nasty write-offs. Then we have the weak dollar, which is not good for any of us, but a FED cut may boost stocks, or maybe not, cheap money isn't helping Japan.
Many conflicting signals, I have to do some heavy thinking to sort it out.....What do you see for next month?
