Hi Tom: Thanks for the info. I happened to read this whole article today at lunch in the USA Today's business section. Overall, all of the strategists were bullish for 2001 (including Abbey Joseph Cohen). They pretty much all said that fundamentals will be important, and that there would be less momentum chasing activity.

I read all of their 'picks for 2001':
ADCT, TXN, JDSU, and AMAT come to mind. I know there were some others that some of us AIM as well.

It was an interesting read, and I suggest that anyone interested should go to their website.

On a sadder note, I regret to inform all of you that I may be a strong contender for the next STREWIE. Preliminary results for my AIM basket for Y2K?......... -16% .......

Now I know that the NASDAQ had it's biggest % drop ever -39.2%, but I was getting used to being up.

I ended October +28%; November flat, and Today -16%. That's a 44pp swing in return in 60 days.

What a wild ride! So consider my hat in the ring! Now to be fair, this year everyone has got to fess up! I don't want to 'win' by default.
