But why does it only hang when the vol. starts increasing?? A fast trader like PALM will go 30 secs. to a minute without any trades showing on Qcharts... when I know there is. I see this every single day... for the past 1 & half years. It is not going to get any better. I can't even get the Boston servers to work any more since everybody else is piling on to them. And Qcom continues the advertising campaign.... Pack'em on$$$

I don't see other programs hanging up when Qcharts does, as a matter of fact I can switch to my brokers quote page and see that trades are taking place. I'm using NT4sp5 so that may be a factor. If the broker had a charting program and T&S I would dump this junk service without hesitation.... And I wouldn't have to worry about being overcharged....

To Quote.com,
Data burst, stop/start, data 4 to 8 second data stopage then burst of data come through- happens here to John, and I just switched to fast cable modem from a 56K dialup- still makes no differance. This has been going on for a year now. Happens whenever vol goes up- daily. I have another data feed- satellite, when qcharts stops for a breath the time and sales on the satellite feed keeps on flying by.
I am sick of being ripped off by Quote.com.
