Re: What about AMD's long-term strategy and roadmap that you like?

AMD's business plan "works" with $100 ASPs when 80%+ of the market (Intel) relies upon $200 ASPs.

What is AMD going to do when it has no server products, no network products?

So far, it's made record profits on record sales with no server or network products. It will move into those markets this year, which are more lucrative markets than any it has participated in before.

Regards,

Dan

I don't sell calls on AMD because I expect AMD to put INTC out in the next few years. INTC is bloated, lazy and extremely vulnerable. They are stuck with poor CPU designs (P4 and Itanic) for years to come. Intel's only hope is that AMD fails to execute on its roadmap. All the new age Internet and communication ventures don't matter. Intel has been riding the IBM PC design win for 20 years, but has not created a single successful business outside of the box.
