centuryman, 1 down year does not / should not shake ones confidence in the companies whose stock was purchased (assuming sound criteria for making the purchase).

look at your portfolio no more than once a quarter next year, and u will feel better!

Not sure if being hated deeply is part of the agorilla Genome.

Of course it is! Do you think that all these people would invest all this energy bashing QCOM if it weren't for the fact that they know that in the end they have no choice but to pay the royalties? If they had any choice, they would just ignore QCOM and let it fade. Being hated is part of being a gorilla.
