chaz, There is a competition in japan goingon right now. It's IS95b@64k vs i-mode @ 9.6k and IS95b is getting it's butt kicked. I'm not so sure speed is the endall, I think content an marketing will play a bigger role. As for new spectrum, the Q pulls in money whatever flavor of CDMA is used. So, why worry? Because revenue and earnings that could and should be flowing to Q now are being deferred for years. We need an reacceleration of earnings and Carriers choosing a technology available now(1X) would do that, choosing something else that is maybe 3 years away doesn't do it. I know we are LTB&H minded but waiting till 2007 for earnings to accelerate is a bit much don't ya think<GG>. 100
