As of 12/22 Canadian gas stocks down 9% from prior week and down 20% from year ago levels. Based on the draw history it appears Canada will not make it through the winter either. In fact they are on track to run out before we do. I am anticipating that our Canadian supplies may very well be curtailed due to emergency measures by the Canadian Government. If this happens, the sky is the limit for NG prices.

I wonder if the canadian producers are still stripping out the X-anes and liquifying them. If so then there is a small buffer of safety but given AECO prices it is likely they are leaving the heavier hydrocarbons in the stream.

There ain't nowhere to hide from this problem.
