Dyb - It seems you're a little behind the times on MSFT installation process. CTO boxes from CPQ, DELL and the other majors boot out of the box to final user configuration in about 60 seconds. They take time and localization info from a local SMS server. Even the ubiquitous user license can be auto-accepted in a corporate environment.

Likewise configuration of the user productivity software and messaging infrastructure happens automatically based on logon security authentication.

I have deployed enough Unix systems to say they are a huge pain in the rear to install compared to MSFT clients.
