It has some very interesting new features that many will find useful. For instance we split the Minimum Shares to Trade between buy and sell. You can say "I don't want to buy less than 100 shares, but am willing to sell 50. It also has an Optimizer feature that calculates the optimum settings on a simulation. With one click, it will show the buy and sell resistances that produced the maximum profit on a given simulation. It will hold an unlimited number of stocks in an unlimited number of portfolios and allow multiple users to have their own portfolios set up in the program. Of course you can now pull a Vealie and adjust the Portfolio Control. Above all, the best new feature has to be the web interactivity. When a stock is active in the program, you are 1 click away from dozens of useful websites about that particular stock. You don't even have to leave the program to place orders with your broker. Best of all, a link to this AIM board is built right in. With over 2,300 users right out of the box, there should be quite an increase in lurking here. Another nice feature is the 'smart-patch' technology we built in. We can add features and update the program at will. The user will click a link and the program will automatically update itself without disturbing any of the portfolio holdings. All the stock transactions are stored in their own file and remain intact no matter what we add in the future. We do have a tour of the program up for those that have not seen it:stocksystem.net The preliminary feedback is very positive. This is certainly what we had in mind all along and will be coming up with some incredible new features in the future. I have been keeping up with all the posts here and want to wish all my fellow AIMer's a Happy New Year. Looking forward to AIM2001 convention discussion and will be at the Florida Money Show if anyone wants to meet us there. Now that the 'buying low' has pretty much played out, lets hope for some 'selling high'. Haven't seen any snow here yet, but with the recent temperatures, it wouldn't surprise me! Best Wishes for the New Year, D1
