Is there a point at which the NAZ stops trading? A certain percentage drop in one day that ends the session? Isn't there one on the Dow? -10%?

TIA,

Dave

"Semiconductor sales in 2000 grew to $222.08 billion, a 31 percent rise from 1999. For 2001, the report estimated growth would slow to the low 20 percent range."

In general I agree with their view but think that they are too high on the percentage of growth in 2001. While I think quantity will grow 20% or more, component prices will moderate downward so that semi dollar sales are up only about 8-12% for the year. But that is not nearly the catastrophe that is now being factored into the market for many semiconductor stocks.
