Interesting question........one I have thought of myself. One can only speculate what caused him to become a heavy drinker, but most alcoholics agree that "once an alcoholic always an alcoholic". We all better hope that he doesn't slip or accidentally get a taste of it somewhere. He might be back into his drinking mode. A friend of mine who is a recovering alcoholic is worried he may relapse.

Dubya retreats out of the public eye and takes naps which leads me to think he may have to reduce his stress level in order to keep sober. Drunks have to stay away from things that may lead them to alcohol and Dubya now has the most stressful job in the world?????????? We could be in for a very rough 4 years. If he starts to drink again he will have to be removed from office. In fact, the Republicans themselves will remove him if he goes back to the booze. It will be ugly.........but deserved.

Two friends of mine are ex-heavy drinkers and they both are scared of Dubya. According to them, if he truly valued sobriety he would not have wanted the job in the first place
