You folks shorting CSCO on the advice of ANALysts are nuts. I wasn't aware of any ANALyst having a sell rating on Crisco. This stock should give a 50% gain minimum this year if the Fed cuts rates 100 basis points, as projected.knc Cut em to zero, it won't help. The game is over. They let the stock market become the economy. There's only one way this game can end, and that is very badly. Nothing the fed can do will prevent a hard landing, all they can do is try to make sure it's not a crash landing, but IMHO that is also out of their control. Tis the nature of things. I remember a quote from somewhere about how to prevent a market crash. The answer was don't let a bubble develop. But they did let a bubble develop and now it is too late.

Just to be clear...I'm not shorting csco here...I think the trend is down and will remain down...I do think that the grind down from here will be slow...unless there is a earnings blow up...tough to predict....I think for a trader like myself the movement of csco day to day, week to week from here doesn't give good enough risk to reward for me to play. I will continue to short small shares of stocks like JNPR, BRCD, RIMM, and other garbage that is still floating much to high...the reason why I watch csco all day is it really effects the nas and s&p futures.
