Greenspan's testimony was quite clear, if the choice is between more government spending or tax cut, go for the cut.

edit: He is well aware of the ability of congress to cut spending or stop from spending more.

Demolib and their media sycophant's have taken the testimony out of context and spew it over and over. I find it very interesting.

His testimony on the subject can be found in his HH testimony, second to last I believe.

Thanks, was sure you would agree and am glad you do now that Bush is not running for office. If Bush runs again in 2004 I will understand why you might want to once again call such a proposal massive.

"The Bushy tax cut proposal WAS MASSIVE because SOMEONE was RUNNING FOR OFFICE and
trying to INFLUENCE VOTERS by offering to PUT MORE MONEY IN THEIR POCKET."

We also agree that yes Bush was trying to influence people by letting them keep their own money in their own pockets.
