But that is precisely the reason the M's already have and will get more and will keep awesome pitchers <the real ingredient for post season success>. I was a big fan of his once. Until he showed his true dollar stained colors. <and left the team in the process> EDIT: I don't blame him for going for the $$$, just don't preach one thing <winning team is most important> then do another. To be fair, I don't know if Texas will be competitive or not. Seems like his ridiculous salary will hurt more than help. JJ P.S. No bias here either!
