Gary,
Do you believe that MEMS are going to have long term viability? I saw some discussions on Frank Coluccio's thread and the Last Mile thread that suggest that the whole idea of moving parts for optical switching is going to going to be severely limiting in the long run.

Yea, it sounds like a nice stock for time.

May even look at it in a few days for my kids.

The observation I made about ML dates back about ten years. A former ML broker always watched their "Pick of the Week" or whatever it was. While at ML he used to reco those stocks to clients and noticed how they always seemed to rise just before and drop a day or two after.

Not news today, but around 1991 people had less access and it was a revelation to me then. The implication he was making was that ML traders violated the Chinese Wall and were front-running their own Analysts.

But in retrospect most likely they were cleaning the day traders out to establish a base of investors.

Sounds better to presume that anyway.
