<The institution of the Senate itself it undemocratic by its nature!!! It gives disproportionate power to small, less populous states and the people who live in them!! Vermonters (ians?) have two senators who wield just as much power as California's two senators. >

Really? Every state has equal Representation, and it's Senators are elected by the "Will of the Masses from each state"..Sounds Democratic to me..

The Balance to the Senate, is the House, were representation is based on Population, not some abstract line on the ground that divides the geography of this country into States. The members of the House are also elected by the "Will of the Masses from the constitutes" within each District.

Where California has 52 Representatives
Vermont 1..

The Un-Democratic apple is the fact that some "Bridge playing Homemaking Tart in Santee" can ultimately decide who is going to be The President of the United States, even if her decision fly's in the face of the "Will of the Masses" of the People's of the United States of America..
