Well, then. Now we're getting somewhere. You have no problem with some people from sparsely populated states having greater per-capita representation than those from populous states in the Senate, because every state has equal representation in the Senate, the House has per-capita representation to offset it, and they're both "elected by the masses," right? Just want to get this straight.

And, how does it fit into your wonderful analysis that, "some 'Bridge playing Homemaking Tart in Santee' can ultimately decide who is going to be The President of the United States, even if her decision fly's in the face of the "Will of the Masses" of the People's of the United States of America"? Please explain who s/he is, and where did s/he come into the mix, in the context of the Electoral College?

I know this is a stock discussion thread but I cannot resist when the issue of the United States being called a democracy appears.

It is not a democracy. It is a representative Republic. That is why the Senate and Supreme court and even the electoral college exist as they do. It protects against one extra vote bringing in a dictator. Our founding fathers were amazing in how they established the government of these United States.

Is GSTRF doing anything different to reverse the stocks price trend or is it just caught up in the ebb and flow of emotional selling and buying? I have lurked around this thread for a while and believe in the technology but as has been pointed out, management and marketing have certainly failed.
In the 70s while with HP I thought if you had the best widgets the market would beat a path to your door. With age and experience it becomes painfully apparent that the best companies don't always have the very best products. Good marketing can do wonders. Similar to sports, the best talent does not always win but good coaching can do wonders with lesser talent.
