Remember, it is demeaning to the 'applicants' to question them about the 'truthfullness' of their answers. I know of a black family that had their kids request the free lunch program at school after they had just moved into a nice new house. Others I have known have black Doctors or Dentists to 'fix' the records in order for them to avoid deductibles on insurance. The public assistance program is in a mess. Unfortunately, it will continue until someone comes along with guts enough to clean it up. The current system encourages abuse and cheating as a way of life.
