I've been in the soup line so long without being served its shameful. Was told Wheaties were available but was blinded by the mirage of something warm and savory. Now facing bankruptcy and a slim chance of even licking some leftover soup bowls.

On a more optimistic note, I think the camels are starting to stampede. Yes I say camels not elephants because G* is doing the sprints, not the service providers. Phones to SS/L employees for $300, excellent. News headlines in the Washington Post (about time). Billboards, print and TV adds more and more common, I sense the camels gallop now. Maybe a little camel thunder will awake the elephants and get them to moving a little too.
I have to agree with Maurice, G* has had their nose in the air in regards to this threads suggestions on how to improve sales and market the product. We know what we're doing..., don't panic, we don't want to appear desperate...,. Now it appears things are sinking in , maybe they realize their fat paychecks are in jeopardy too.

So if SI thread ideas are finally 'worthy of consideration', please consider:

1. $300 phones to Loral, G*, and Qualcomm employees and shareholders.
2. Offer G* phones to Omnitracs customers
3. Adopt a Wacky Wireless pricing structure for '01.
4. Offer LOR fixed satellite service customers (cable companies, the network media, etc, etc) discounts on satellite time for volume G* purchases.
5. Integrate G* into Verizon service plans
6. Joint advertise with Verizon, Vodaphone, etc. etc.
7. Make Onstar or Wingcast a deal they can't refuse.
8. How bout a smaller phone with long life batteries.

The list goes on and on. Run camels run!!!

O.T.

Not really offended, just kind of curious as to how these things seem to get people worked up for so long.

nuff said, jack 35.
