Doug--Don't we see the improved conditions for WCOM to deliver better results based on the rate cuts? Don't we hear that WCOM is going to track the slower business out? If you know something good is going to happen in next two quarters, are you going to wait until the good thing really happened and then following others? Yes, by that time, you may hear more analysts to upgrade WCOM to buy from accumulation or to strong buy from buy. But buy that time, $30 mark must have been passed a long time ago. Even at $30, WCOM is still cheap. Even only with UUNET, $30 still sounds cheap to me. Recently, few people on the Street were talking about the Internet backbone. Does this mean Internet backbone isn't as important as before? No, not at all! Most of the net traffic are still carried by the backbone. Most of big business users are still favor UUNET's network. The NAZ system that had 3billion volumes yesterday is under UUNET's service. The Chicago future trading system is under UUNET service... UUNET is still a money machine.
