I've never used AOL directly before. I was surprised (and pleased ... I think) to find that their messenger software is also called AIM. Perhaps this is the perfect tool with which to hold hold AIM (ala Lichello) meetings!

Hi Keith and SAM, You can also search for others via their email addresses. I am compiling a list of AIMers that are already on AOL. Once we have a more complete "buddy list", I can send that list out so everyone has the same list.

AOL seems to have the more popular features of Instant Messaging such as private chat rooms, voice transfer and file transfer. I think this could work quite well.

Last evening, with Keith's group, they were able to look at the same web pages I was discussing and see what it was that I was BSing about! I think it helped quite a bit.

Best regards, Tom

Hello Keith,

I've signed up, downloaded AIM and registered. My user name is "aibeeble," couldn't believe someone actually took "aptus." Oh well.

Couldn't contact (or find) anyone though.

regards,
mark.
