I've heard 25% and I've heard 50%. The point is that no one really knows. That's the reason I'm cautious... Which industry are you referring to? Certainly not fiber optics components. And to say that no one knows is only partially true. Many research firms base their reputations on estimating where the market is going and within a certain margin of error, we can know what's likely to happen. Is Alan Greenspan going to let the economy go into a tailspin? If he is, then all bets are off. If you think he isn't, then you have to take research projections into account when deciding when and where to invest. Right now the market is telling us Wall Street thinks the economy is worse off than previously thought. You can look at that two ways: we're doomed or AG will be even more aggressive at the end of the month. We know how he responded to the Asian Crisis so it's hard for me to believe we can't see the writing on the wall. Pat
