Jeez John - I wish I'd read your post before responding to Gary. Would have referenced it.

So Abe Briloff is making the same point re. Stock Options enhancing the operating results of the company in the WSJ -

While I focus on the impact as a subsidy to growth of cash flow from operations, he is pointing to the "if they had to pay this compensation in cash" impact.

There is a third benefit that neither of us have discussed, which is the pure infusion of cash by employees.

Man, we need the stock to go up. Otherwise, look out below.

An interesting read.Is this article from Barron's ?I assume so.

My only thought and question is "Are Ciscos accounting practices legal?"My conclusion and perhaps to answer my own question is that they must be and if that be the case ,then I hope they continue until the laws are changed.
