Glad to see I wasn't the only one who didn't get it...BUT Bob...we miss Josef...but it was his choice to NOT be here. PLUS 1) All of us want SI to stay here... 2) SI needs to make money to do that... 3) Any ideas of how to make enough money to continue to operate? 4) Both TV and Radio are "free"....we are all "free " to watch or listen all we care to. However, there are ads. (unless you watch PBS, then there are fundraisers) But SI used to charge to post...still not sure what the situation on that is...(levy, what is it?) I am a Life Member. Are you? Do you think you have received your money's worth yet? (especially since you are a long time poster) I personally think my membership was/and IS a great value!!! However, back to the point....Many, Many things have changed since 1997, and cost increases for increasing technology is one of the changes. I personally am willing to see some ads to be able to continue posting on SI. How about you? Obviously, Josef wasn't willing...he's gone. It would be a very sad day indeed if SI was not here. What do you and all of you think?
