Zev - What did I say that was wrong?

Have you seen Barrons this weekend? It makes me look like the greatest optimist of all times.

A couple of big telecom articles comparing the tleco lending to the real estate lending of the late 80s and early 90's.

And Alan Abelson and Rhonda someone, goodness I felt miserable enough before I read that lot but now....They seem to be painting a picture of a complete and total collapse and disaster especially for anything to do with telecoms.

Best regards,

L

Zev and thread - I WISH SOMEONE COULD FIND SOMETHING POSITIVE OR ENCOURAGING TO SAY.

Next week looks set to be another massive leg down just continuing the collapse. The reaction to the rate cut seems to have left people stunned and in a state of near catatonic shock that it lasted only about three hours.

It has surpased all superlatives, broken all records and truned into the greatest stock market collapse in history and is showing aboslutely no sign of let up indeed quite the opposite.

We have all of severely underestimated what is happening. It is the nightmare that all investors fear in their dreams but hasn't been around since 1929. Now it has returned for the second time in a hundred years except that it is far worse than the last one.

Up till now most of us dreaded the above and our natural resevoir of hope stopped us from taking the disciplined action necessary to preserve capital.

Best regards,

L

I fear a war is quite possible, Oil shock is a possibility as well.
