Don, I thank you for those links. I need to study them. Interesting. I sent my copy of "The creature from Jeckle Island" down to some family, and they have come back with a few retorts much like your own.... "Well, I looked up in the index for the word "unemployment" and saw it does not exist" Many of our family were brought up in the depression and saw WW2 at first hand. [my earlier post addresses the "employment" question...what is acceptable for "employment"???] Thing is I haven't even "driven in the pickets" yet, and that book will end up with the Fabians and some merchant bankers. My view is... minimum government. But...I got a fight on my hands -g- In my J6P trade I really do know statistics well, and I know modeling too. Some of my earlier posts were on the money re "first order interactions" (US market and dollar conversion), I failed to connect the final "dot" but did OK so far.
