There's a reason radio hasn't replaced the telephone. I think that would come as a surprise to the hundreds of millions of people using cell phones. ;-)

It is you, that must convince the Hundred's of Thousands of people that use these services. YOU must persuade them, that they must now invest well over a thousand dollars the first year, and continued monthly service fees in order to have the honor of maintaining "emergency communications".
