James, The new thread started by a member of LWP offers a fair forum for debate. Subject 50472 I just wonder what we are going to debate -g- The bottom line, at least in my "warped" right wing view of our world is that without all those evil Republican corporations creating jobs and tax revenue then all those social programs would have not funding. We Republicans make this country what it was and is. The smarter Democrats know this, but you can't get them to really debate it. To do so is to lose, and those Democrats won't enter the arena if they are going to lose. They just take their toys and go find other kids to play with. HAGO TH

Yes, ironic... yet sad...<g> All I did was offer a counter view and the immediate response was name calling... frankly, I doubt that any substantive discussion can be engaged with the individuals with whom I've made contact at that thread... as they see it, they're just wonderful and have already made up their minds about _________ (fill in the blank).....<g> BTW, I couldn't get into SI much of the day today, I thought for a moment I might have been banished completely.....<g> go figure.....
