In some ways you are a strange beast. People mostly do not change political viewpoints once they are adults. And as a consequence I doubt that any substantive discussion can be engaged with the individuals with whom I've made contact and have already made up their minds about _________ (fill in the blank)..... are pretty much true. Sometimes a Democrat can be convinced to vote for a Republican candidate or vice versa when the candidate of the own party is particularly bad. But's about it. I couldn't get into SI much of the day today, I thought for a moment I might have been banished completely. I had the same problem, but I figured it was just SI screwing up again. :-) Actually, they sent out PMs that they were going to be working on things trying to improve service.
