Pat, NT also promised $10 billion in revenues and they underdelivered. Not that they meant to miss either but I believe they were caught off guard. It's no given these co's will meet current expectations either.

GLW's forward earnings guidance for year 2001 from the most recent concall was 1.47 which gives them a decent P/E.

I talked to some ex-Dec friends of mine who now work for JDSU on the production floor they say JDSU does not have any forced shutdown in Canada and they know of none anywhere else.

Demand is growing more than they can handle and will continue into 2002 and later.
